Dr. Amy Pearce

MB,CHB (Stel), Dip obst (SA)

“As a Women's Health General Practitioner, I'm deeply passionate about supporting women in living their fullest, healthiest lives. I create a safe environment where you feel heard, respected, and thoroughly supported—recognizing the interconnection between physical, emotional, spiritual, and lifestyle factors in your wellbeing."

After graduating from Stellenbosch University, I gained clinical experience at New Somerset Hospital and further developed my focus in women’s health while working at Dr Moyra Stein’s Well Woman Practice, where I was fortunate to deepen my skills under her guidance. I hold a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from the College of Medicine of South Africa, as well as a Certificate in Urodynamics from the Bristol Urological Institute.

My clinical practice encompasses contraceptive management, hormonal health, IUD insertions, pelvic health interventions, menopause care, and postpartum transitions. I also perform gynecological ultrasounds to support a comprehensive approach to care.

I see medicine as a calling, guided by my faith and compassion. I deeply value the trust women place in me when sharing their health concerns, and consider each patient relationship a sacred responsibility. Through thorough listening, evidence-based treatment, and genuine care, I'm committed to empowering you toward optimal health and confidence.

Outside the practice, I enjoy life with my husband James and our two greyhounds, balancing outdoor activities with serving at my local church, Every Nation City Bowl, and nurturing meaningful friendships.”
