Our services
We offer general GP consults, women’s health consultations, aesthetic medicine and consultations specifically for adolescents. All of our doctors are accepting new patients, and where possible we accommodate same-day appointments. You don’t need a referral, but please be aware that we aren’t linked to any medical aids, so payments need to be settled by card in full immediately after your appointment.
- New patient - women’s health consultations: 1 hour - R2,250
- General GP appointment: 30 minutes – R1250
- Aesthetic medicine consults: 30 minutes to 1 hour – cost varies
- Follow-up appointments: 15 to 45 minutes – cost varies
- IUD insertion: R2660
Virtual or telehealth consultations are available to registered patients. We usually use this to discuss blood results and a management plan going forward. We don’t offer after-hours emergency care.

Adolescent consultations
Appointments for any medical concern common in the teenage years: acne; heavy periods; contraceptive advice; mood changes. We realise that these matters need time to be addressed and aim to create a safe space for young women as they embark on their women’s health journey.
Aesthetic medicine
- Muscle relaxing injections with Botulium Toxin
- Facial contour and volume restoration with Hyaluronic acid fillers
- Skin boosters + bio-stimulators to enhance skin quality and hydration
- Skin lesion removal
GP consultations

- Chronic illness management
Lab tests or scans
If you need blood or tests or X-rays, we’ll give you forms to take to the laboratory or radiology department. For mammograms and bone density scans, you’ll need to make an appointment at your radiology department of choice.
Both Lancet and Pathcare are conveniently located in Library Square, should you need lab tests.
Your doctor will contact you with your results. You can also find your results via the Pathcare or Lancet apps. If your doctor hasn’t got back to you 1 week after your consultation with your results, please contact our practice manager, Carlyn, at reception@womenshealthpractice.co.za
Prescriptions
To request a refill of your prescription, please email Carlyn on reception@womenshealthpractice.co.za
Additional scripts are charged at R250 per script. If we haven’t seen you in our practice for more than 1 year, then we can’t legally prescribe to you.
